River Island Ranch consists of approximately 1900 acres in the San Juan Mountains of south central Colorado near the town of South Fork.

 Over 2 3/4 miles of the Rio Grande River flows along the southern border of the ranch. On a 10 acre island in the river we are building a clubhouse for use of all property owners in the ranch.  There will also be built cabins on the island for use of owners and guests.  With over 300 acres of common space there will be plenty of room for outdoor activities.  The  Rio Grande National Forest borders a part of the northern side of the ranch and there is access for all owners. 

All properties have electricity and telephone service.

Phase 1 consisting of 55 parcels has sold out all but 1 parcel.

Phase 3 with 44 parcel ranging from 4.75 acres to 11.43 acres has sold 18 parcels.

Construction has begun on the roads for phase 2 which will have some river  parcels.

All property owners in this project will have access to over 2 3/4 miles of river.

Memberships to the Rio Grande Golf and Fishing Club are available with land purchase at a discounted rate.
